MAY 8: a very busy program, from sports and the things happening for May 8 (VE Day, Pope election, local PennDOT Route 322 road event) to chats with guests from the Nittany Knights on their big concert event May 17, and with PSU's Dr. Michael Skvarla on the soon to hit cicada swarm in central PA - 17 years in the making! APRIL 24:  on a pretty warm and nice day today we're thinking local tourism. Good timing - we talked to Dave Gerdes of Happy Valley Adventure Bureau about upcoming tourism activities for Centre County for this year, and there's a LOT. Also chat on the challenges of tourism, the importance to the local area, the values of Penn State activities and more. It adds up to around $1 billion of revenue coming to Centre County each year...​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
